Netbooks Currently Listed at or below $200

The thought behind a traditional netbook is web access for a rather cheap price (commonly below $400 or much less) at the expense of hardware such as Blu-ray player or kickass graphics card or even smaller monitors. With that said, you can definitely find older computers reselling at much cheaper price as compared to when they were initially retailing and they make a good netbook with “alot more hardware” for the price. That’s because these were not designed to be merely netbooks when to start with.

I use my netbook for actual work, be it writing articles, minor graphics work, spreadsheet calculation, etc, even though work was not the original intent behind this class of mobile computers.

To me, The bigger the screen, the better for your productivity. Two sizes seem to dominate the scene: 10.1″ and 11.6″. Netbooks with 10.1″ screens provide a sweet spot and plenty are available for less than $200 as seen below. Smaller screens (9″ and below) only seem to be appropriate for web surfing, social media, and some video games. Might as well get an iPad or a tablet or use your iPhone if you’re only planning to do those.
